How much do the dresses cost?
Our current collection starts from £1900, with most gowns between £2000 and £2400. Custom designs are available from £2500 and fully bespoke designs are available from £3000.
How to I book an appointment and do you charge for appointments?
Please fill out the form on the Appointments page or email hello@sophierosebridal.com to enquire about making a booking. There is no charge for appointments.
Can I make changes to the design?
Every Sophie Rose gown starts with one of my signature designs. From there, you can personalise elements such as sleeves, necklines, fabrics, skirts and backs to create a dress that's uniquely yours. If you are interested in a fully bespoke Sophie Rose gown, please enquire to discuss.
What should I wear to my first appointment?
Almost all the dresses have cups that provide the support you need. If you think you may need to wear a bra then wear one that provides the shape and lift that you are wanting on the wedding day. It’s also helpful to wear nude underwear but we can advise what’s best for the day once we get started! If you’d like to try the dresses with shoes then please feel free to bring some with you.
When is my first fitting?
I ideally like to start fittings roughly 6 months before your wedding.. If you’re booking your dress with a shorter lead time, then it depends with what timeframe we’re working with but it's usually doable. Please get in touch to discuss.
Can I bring friends and family to the appointment?
Of course! My studio comfortably fits 3 guests. Bring people who you trust and genuinely care about their opinion, but remember it’s your dress and you’re the one who is wearing the dress so it’s purely about how you feel.
Can I have a swatch of the fabric of my dress?
Absolutely no problem at all! Please just ask and I can give them to you at an appointment or post them to you.
Do you have veils and accessories at the studio?
I have a beautiful selection of samples from Eden B Studio for you to try during your appointment. I can also order them for you or request samples of any designs I don't have.
What size are your samples?
They range from UK sizes 8-14.. It’s incredibly rare that a wedding dress samples fits perfectly as it hasn’t been made for you so I can pin the dresses if they’re too big or leave the zip slightly undone if they’re too small to give you a really good idea on how they would look.
Is there parking at the studio?
There are three car parking spaces at the studio available to use.
How do I pay for my dress?
A 50% payment secures your design and allows me to begin the process of creating your gown. The remaining balance is due before final collection.
If I can't make it to your studio in person, am I still able to have a Sophie Rose dress?
Absolutely, this is the route that many brides have chosen. I can do a virtual appointment if you'd like to discuss options or if you know what you are wanting, we can discuss over email. Ideally, I will continue with my made to measure option as close as I can without seeing you in person and send a sample to check for alterations before making your dress. Or, if your measurements fit in well to a conventional dress size, I can make and dens the dress to you without needing a sample first. Please note that both these options mean alterations are very likely to be needed in some capacity once the final dress is with you.
